Lewisburg Atrocities
We have received very disturbing and heartbreaking news this morning that was a direct result of city mismanagement and down right animal cruelty.
Today, Lewisburg Animal Shelter, someone we have been fighting to change its practices for a year, yet again put down EVERY SINGLE sponsored dog down in its facility today. They refuse to say why, other than it was a “city decision.” This is not the first time they have done this. What is even worse, all the dogs has commits on them to be picked up today. They had time set out to meet the person who was going to rescue the dogs, and then didnt show up, instead, they were spotted at the local vet, Meredith Warner Veterinary Clinic, putting all the dogs down. This is a disgusting act and it will be investigated, I will make sure of that. We will have more info as we get it. In the mean time, to voice your concerns about this murder that has occurred again, please contact City Manager Tommy Engram at 931-359-1544. This is who gave the order again to put all dogs down in the facility, regardless of commits.
We also have the petition set up to investigate this atrocity.
